We have been arranging accommodation in and around Pilanesberg since 2007. Every lodge listed here is one we know personally — we can tell you which waterhole to watch at sunset, which side of the park suits a photographer, and which lodge will suit your group best. The most complete 5-star experience in the park. Excellent guides, outstanding spa, and the game viewing from the northeastern section is consistently strong.
Set in the southwest with sweeping bushveld views. One of the quieter, more exclusive lodges — you won't feel like you're sharing the park with anyone.
Tshukudu sits elevated on the northern slopes — the views from the chalets over the bushveld are unlike anything else in the park. Small, personal and very special.
Hidden in ancient Tamboti forest with private access into Pilanesberg via a wilderness valley. Five-star bush experience without the crowds — genuine exclusivity for guests who want the park to themselves.
The lodge I recommend most for first-timers and families. The floodlit waterhole in front of the rooms is genuinely spectacular — hippo most evenings, elephant regularly, and the atmosphere at sundowners is hard to beat.
Kwa Maritane sits among dramatic ancient boulders on the eastern side — one of the most striking settings in Pilanesberg. The rocky terrain around it is excellent leopard country and the bird life is exceptional.
